一般美食电影的套路，从低谷到山巅。此片厨师设定背景是米其林二星冲三星的阶段，其愤怒、失意、狼狈、最后振作，或者说在大起大落后的淡然，表现没有逻辑错误，其他情情爱爱感情纠葛另说。一个特别亮点之处在于着力表现了主厨对于整个后厨团队凝聚的认识，这个切入点是美食电影以后厨为主的一种认可。
