初看以为是个人对死亡的追问与态度，90分钟后发现原来是个日本版《焦裕禄》的故事，为低下层发声及对政府部门的讽刺已是黑泽天皇50年代电影的主要话题之一，这次借用了《罗生门》的叙事结构把人民公仆的故事作碎片化拼贴还是别出心裁，人物的说教意味与表演的过度用力始终是绕不过的槽点，导演就如那最后愤然而起的公务员，面对比癌症晚期病人更无药可救的官僚机构，虽忿忿不平但又无可奈何。
